Happy New Year!
I hope the Christmas season has been a heart-filling period for you, with plenty of time for reading! I have been reading, resting, reflecting, eating, drinking, dancing, swimming in the ocean, and spending time with people I love.
My favourite reads of 2024
Prophet Song by Paul Lynch, a frighteningly realistic depiction of one family torn apart by an oppressive regime which comes to power in contemporary Ireland. Devastating and powerful.
Intermezzo by Sally Rooney, a compassionate and insightful novel about the complexities of human relationships.
All Fours by Miranda July, hilarious, original and refreshing novel about love, marriage, parenthood, art, sex and menopause.
Gliff by Ali Smith, a tender, disturbing story about siblinghood, community and resilience in dark times.
Complaint Letters Live at Fringe Festival!
My next Complaint Letters Live! event is January 17th, 18th and 19th at The Rechabite in William Street, Northbridge with a fantastic lineup of fan favourite letters from the last few years. I am so excited to have my show be part of Fringe Festival and hope to see some of your faces in the audience!
